Dragon Copilot Works Inside the EHR You Already UseEleven supported platforms — and exactly which note sections get written in each

Ambient AI is only useful if the finished note lands where the work actually happens. Here is where it lands.

See it on your own EHR →

The reason most ambient AI tools frustrate clinicians is not the AI. It is the copy-and-paste at the end — a beautiful note drafted somewhere else that someone still has to move by hand. Microsoft Dragon Copilot drafts the note from the visit and writes it into the chart your practice already runs, in the right fields.

Voice Automated is an official partner of ClinicallySpeaking, whose CNEX platform carries Dragon Copilot’s ambient documentation directly into your EHR. One vendor for the dictation and the AI — and one number to call.

Dragon Copilot does not drop a wall of text into one field. On the platforms below, the drafted content is written into the individual structured sections your providers already document into.

Why go through Voice Automated

Microsoft makes the product; we make it work in your clinic. Most practices already call us about Dragon. Adding ambient AI through the same partner keeps the dictation and the AI on one contract, one support line, and one team that already knows your setup — and your providers keep the dictation behavior they already know.

Voice Automated is an authorized Microsoft partner with three decades in healthcare voice, recognized #1 Best in KLAS for AI-Powered Cloud-Based Documentation for two consecutive years. We scope the right setup for your specialty, handle rollout and training, and support your team after go-live — because new capabilities succeed on adoption, not just installation.

Security note: Dragon Copilot is deployed on Microsoft Azure services that maintain HITRUST and SOC certifications. Product-level certification is not claimed — the platform is the correct scope.

Frequently asked questions

Which EHRs does Dragon Copilot work with?

Through Voice Automated and the ClinicallySpeaking CNEX platform, Dragon Copilot currently integrates with eleven EHR and EMR platforms: athenaClinicals, athenaPractice, athenaFlow, Epic, eClinicalWorks, NextGen Enterprise, Veradigm, Allscripts Professional, Altera TouchWorks, ModMed EMA and Phoenix Ortho. MEDITECH support is coming. Availability can vary by EHR version and configuration.

Does Dragon Copilot work with Epic?

Yes. Epic is a supported integration through Voice Automated — see Dragon Copilot embedded in Epic EHR. For section-level detail on your specific Epic build, contact us and we will confirm coverage for your environment rather than give you a generic answer.

Does the note go into the right fields, or just as one block of text?

Into the right fields. Rather than dropping a wall of text into a single note field, the drafted content is written into the individual structured sections your providers already document into — HPI, Review of Symptoms, Physical Exam, Assessment and Plan, and more, depending on the platform. The coverage table above shows exactly which sections are supported on each EHR.

What if my EMR is not on the list?

Tell us which one you run. New platforms are added regularly, and if yours is on the roadmap we will tell you honestly where it stands. We would rather give you a straight answer up front than have you discover a gap partway through a demo.

Do my providers have to learn a new system?

No. Dragon dictation keeps working exactly the way your providers already know it, and the ambient note is drafted inside the chart they already use. There is no separate application to open and no copy-and-paste step at the end of the visit.

Is Dragon Copilot HITRUST certified?

Dragon Copilot is deployed on Microsoft Azure services that maintain HITRUST and SOC certifications. Product-level certification is not claimed — the platform is the correct scope. Voice Automated is an implementation partner for these certified platform services.
